Easy Grilled Drumsticks

Easy Grilled Drumsticks

These drummies are so tender, delicious and simple. It took me a while to figure out the art of grilling drumsticks but since I have, it’s been a go to main dish around our house. Plus its so cheap and kids love them! I mean most people love them right!

WHY I LOVE THESE

TIME These drummies do take some attention but the amount of hands on time is minimal. I rinse my drummies and pat them dry and pull the skin back over the drummie the best I can. Then preheat the grill to 350. For my grill that is a medium to low setting. Place drummies on the grill and turn them every 10 minutes to ensure even browning. I do not oil or season them. About 10 minutes before they are done or on the 3rd turn add BBQ sauce if you are using it. I add BBQ to half of mine. My children like theirs plain, no salt and no seasoning!

TEMP Use a meat thermometer and cook the drummies until the internal temp next to the bone reads 190 degrees C. Drummies can tolerate a higher internal temp without drying out, it simply makes them so tender and yummy! I cook mine generally for a total of 40 minutes.
